Welcome to the 1st ever NL East Series preview where a quick preview is done of where, when, who and how each NL East Team is playing this week.

The Phillies(36-25) continue their home stand and interleague play starting a three game set tonight at 7:05 against the Toronto Blue Jays(34-21). They will attempt to right the ship after losing 2 of 3 to the Red Sox this weekend, and they needed a come back win to take the one.
Tuesday @ 7:05PM – Ricky Romero,TOR (3-3) vs Cole Hamels,PHI(4-2)
Wednesday @ 7:05PM – Scott Richmond,TOR(4-3) vs Jamie Moyer,PHI(4-5)
Thursday @ 1:05PM – Casey Janssen,TOR(2-3) vs Joe Blanton,PHI(4-3)

The Mets(32-29) move on with their interleague schedule and travel to Baltimore tonight starting a three game series at 7:05 against the O’s(27-36). They will attempt to play through the pain of a tough series loss on a bad error by Luis Castillo and an out of character outing by their ace, Johan Santana.
Tuesday @ 7:05PM – Mike Pelfrey,NYM(4-2) vs Jeremy Guthrie,BAL(4-6)
Wednesday @ 7:05PM – Tim Redding,NYM(0-2) vs Koji Uehara,BAL(2-4)
Thursday @ 7:05PM – Livan Hernandez,NYM(5-1) vs Jason Berken,BAL(1-3)

The Marlins(32-33) look to stay hot after a three game sweep of the Blue Jays at home and travel to Fenway Park to take on the Red Sox(38-25).
Tuesday @ 7:10PM – Chris Volstad,FLA(4-6) vs Tim Wakefield,BOS(8-3)
Wednesday @ 7:10PM -Andrew Miller,FLA(2-2) vs Brad Penny,BOS(5-2)
Thursday @ 7:10PM – Ricky Nolasco,FLA(2-6) vs Jon Lester,BOS(5-5)

The Braves(30-32) are exempt from the interleague schedule for the next few days and celebrate by traveling to Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati to face the Reds(31-31). They will hope to fair better against this NL Central opponent than they did against the Orioles this past weekend when they dropped 2 out of 3.
Tuesday @ 7:10PM – Jair Jurrjens,ATL(5-4) vs Aaron Harang,CIN(5-6)
Wednesday @ 7:20PM – Javier Vazquez,ATL(4-5) vs Micah Owings,CIN(3-7)
Thursday @ 12:35PM – Tommy Hanson,ATL(1-0) vs Matt Maloney,CIN(0-1)

Last, but not least, The Nationals draw possibly the toughest assignment of the group. The Nats(16-45) travel to New York City and the new Bandbox in the Bronx to take on the Yankees(36-27). It has also been speculated that even if Manny Acta pulls off the impossible and sweeps the Bombers, his job may still be in jeopardy.

Wednesday @ 7:05PM – John Lannan,WAS(3-5) vs Chien-Ming Wang,NYY(0-4)
