Today we welcome our 3rd blog in the NL East Chatter Community.  The guys over at http://www.centerfieldgate.com have graciously accepted our invitation and today are a full fledged part of our new and growing community.  There are still a few things to get tweaked with this blog, including the integrated usernames and passwords, but we hope to get through these obstacles in the next few days.  Also, an RSS feed will be added to the left hand side of this page as soon as I get the graphic for it.

In the meantime, stop by http://www.centerfieldgate.com and say hello to Mark and the boys.  Its great to have another team on board.  Just Phillies and Marlins to go, so once again, please let me know at mrose@nleastchatter.com if you have suggestions.

welcome. I went to the game on Sunday last week, and the park was very nice. There are also a lot of Nats fans too (not just Met fams) based on the gear worn!

ANd the area will be a lot of fun when (if?) they finish the entertainment area complex behind the stadium.

And more amazing was, free parking! OK, it was at RFk, but the shuttle buses were quick and free also, so a nice way to go.

All you guys need is a solid management team, an operating budget, and a few years to build up the talent and BB in DC might actually work out this time.

Oh yeah, the half smoke all the way was quite tasty, but a tad messy! And I don’t want to know the calorie count either.

Try the bullpen. Half smokes (well, hotdogs) for $3 and a beer for $5. And Mets fans can get both for full price! Actually, full lot parking isn’t bad nearby. I pay $25 per game and my seats are $45 and I have 34 games. For two seats each that’s pretty pricey, but it’s not the wiffle ball park in the Bronx. I love the park. I noticed last week (just last week, though I hvae been going now for two years) that there’s no obstructed view anywhere. I have not been to Citi Field, would love to go or to PNC, but would love to go. Standing room at Nats Park is $5 and it’s becoming somewhat of a tradition — a whole row out in CF stands in the pavilion and keeps score. All lined up with their books and pencils. Amazing to see. We’re getting there. But a lot of people still coming disguised as blue seats.

Mark – if you ever find yourself in NYC give me a call, I have a full season plan to you can get to Citi. Its not nearly as expensive as the bandbox in the bronx
