-Quick Notes:
-Jeff Allison is back to Jupiter after making an “emergency start” in Jacksonville. This ends the debate on exactly why Allison was promoted to Double-A other than improved performance. Allison is 5-8 with a 3.8ERA in Jupiter this season. Further work and improvement is still needed for this 24 year old.
-Mike Stanton is hitting only .171 in his last ten games with only one home run. His BB:K ratio is 13:5. He has been somewhat up and down in Jacksonville, but this could be further evidence that Stanton should stay in Jacksonville for the remainder of the year and depending on his continued performance, a start to the season is Jacksonville is probably necessary as well. There’s no reason to rush the kid, although many expect him to be up as soon as August/September 2010.
