Bastardo to sit Wednesday
According to this article at ESPN, the Phillies rookie pitcher Antonio Bastardo will miss his next scheduled start on Wednesday. With the off day Monday, the Phillies will start Blanton on Tuesday and Hamels on Wednesday in Atlanta with no announcement on the starter for Thursday. Some folks are speculating that prospect Carlos Carrasco could get the call for that start. We will keep you updated here at NLEC.
I guess the silver lining as a Met fan is the arbitration option clocks are starting on some of these Phillie prospects.
