From only the best (SARCASM FOR THOSE WHO COULDN’T PICK IT UP), New York Post, the cover headline read “Frillies are coming to town.” Just look for yourself…
“Philly fans are a bunch of whiners and should learn how to dress. They should try reading GQ.”
“Living up to their second-class billing going into the start of the Fall Classic tomorrow, the Phils arrived in New York yesterday — by train.”
“I don’t have hate for Philly exactly — they are like our redheaded stepchild,”
“The Phillies’ current home, Citizens Bank Park, is jail-free, but the fans are still thugs, Bombers faithful said.”
Is this a joke? Please tell me this is a joke? They can actually print this garbage? Shane Victorino in a dress?

Do you really understand WHERE that stuff came from? Have you ever read what they say about the Mets and Yankees at times? Don’t just pick it up now and judge it on this work, that is unless you are insecure?
Fortunately I’m not a New York resident and stay as far away from it as possible. I “pick it up” when it shows up on my city’s headlines.
And what’s insecure about back-to-back league championships? NOTHING
I understand your contempt for the Mets, however I am guessing since your team has only graced the cover since they have become relevant to NYers that you don’t understand what the Post even is.
And I have no idea what insecure has to do with winning back to back on the field. We are talking about things done and comments made off the field. Why are you even concerned if you are not insecure? Why do you even give a damn what a joke of a newspaper in NY says about the mighty Phillies?
I assumed you were referring to insecurity about winning the WS…
I just found it funny that they want to put not just the team but the city at such a low level, and do it as tasteless as they did. It’s a “look in the mirror” type of thing to me.
Again, you have to understand the post. It’s almost like a SNL skit.
What I also find confusing is that you say you only read it when it pertains to the Phillies, which is almost never, yet you announce: “From only the best, New York Post,” I seriously think YOU think this is a serious newspaper. LOL.

It pissed me off, then I shrugged it off. The Post is notorious for ripping NY teams/athletes (A-Rod in particular) all the time.
In NYC after a while you learn to filter what goes for real news and what goes for how do I put it, “National Enquirer Garbage”.
This is one reason some players hate playing in NYC.
When it comes to NY Sports Media you have to have a thick skin or they will just pick you apart. Similar to a girl showing she is scared when a worm is waved in front of her. Never show fear.
On another note where can I find that article about Brittany Fucking her mom again?

I RARELY read an article in the post, newsday, etc… The post especially is really a joke and some of their backpages are deplorable and as Matt says.. they are just a tabloid..
