The Marlins have sent OF Alejandro De Aza to AAA and at the same time brought IF Andy Gonzalez up.  Alfredo Amezaga was transferred over to the 60 day DL as well.  Amezaga has been on the DL since May 17th with what is listed as a “left knee contusion”

De Aza was hitting .250 in only 20 at bats this year with the Marlins.

Gonzalez is hitting .260 in 65 games for AA New Orleans, including 32 RBI, four HR and six stolen bases.
